Off road motorcycles, also known as off-road two wheeled motorcycles, are collectively referred to as ORVs (off-road vehicles) in the European Union, the United States, ATV, UTV, BAJA, Go kart, and other countries. They are a type of motorcycle used in enclosed off-road routes for motorcycle sports or all terrain vehicle racing. Off road motorcycles are from the UK and can be traced back to British Scrambling races. The name is derived from the integrated definition of "motorcycle" and "off-road racing vehicle".
